| WITHIN A SHORT DISTANCE OF OUR PRACTICE . . . Clients travelling long distances to us may wish to explore the local area prior to returning home, or to plan a day out for a check up when the pet may be hospitalised for a few hours during the day for tests.
Winchester is a historic city with a beautiful cathedral and home to King Arthur’s roundtable. It has a strong military history with excellent museums on the King’s Royal Hussars, Royal Hampshire Regiment, Light Infantry, Royal Green Jackets, Gurkhas and the Adjutant General’s Corps. There are also Wolvesey Castle and Intech – the International Science and Technology Centre.
Alternatively, it is possible to walk along the river, picnic on the water meadows or visit properties such as Broadlands (home of Lord Mountbatten), Mottisfont Abbey, Hillier’s arboretum at Ampfield, Hinton Ampner house at Itchen Abbas, all of which are only a short drive from our practice.
